Singapore Menu: French Beans with Pork and Mushroom in Oyster Sauce

Chinese Menu: 乌龟豆炒猪肉和蘑菇

In France, it is hard to get Vegetables like Cai Xin, Kang Kong or Kai Lan if you are not staying near any Asian Store. However, French beans (Haricot Vert) are common and can be found at all Supermarkets. Today I got to know it is French Beans instead of Long Beans. In Singapore, the French Beans are fatter and looks more muscular than the beans here. Well, ¯_(ツ)_/¯

Singapore French Beans

We used to buy Fresh French Beans, but they are usually sold in 250g or 500g. It is difficult for us to finish in one meal. But luckily they have Frozen French Beans in 1kg Packets that we can keep for a longer period of time. Though not that fresh, but it is better than having French beans for 4 meals right?
