Rail Strike in France

In case you don't know, the French rail workers will be organising strikes throughout this 3 months on 22 March 2018 and rolling strikes 2 days every 5 days from 3 April until 28 June 2018.

They say Spring is a season of strikes in France. You can read here why they go on strike.

So if you are travelling to France or Paris from 22 March 2018 onwards, do take note.

When they go on strike ah?

These are the dates that they plan to go on strike. Which is 2 days every 5 days.

Who is going on Strike?

SNCF Operators

    Eg: Regional Trains taking you from Paris to Strasbourg

RER Operators 

They operate the regional trains in Paris. 25% services will be affected on 22 March 2018

Eurostar 

Some services are affected on 22 March 2018. So if you are taking Eurostar to and fro London, please take note.

So far, the Metros in Paris will be operating as usual, but as SMRT always say, please add in 20 mins for your travel time.

So, with this SMRT is "more better" then French train network.

Because better late than never.
